WoMena is very pleased to welcome our two interns, Elisabeth and Camilla. Elisabeth and Camilla are currently based in Gulu, Uganda, to support and perform a research project for WoMena Ltd. on schoolgirls’ use of menstrual cups. The main focus of the project will be on acceptability, hygienic safety and impacts on school attendance from using the cup.
Elisabeth and Camilla are Public Health students from the University of Copenhagen and have a great interest in international and reproductive health. They have both been active within subgroups of the International Medical Cooperation Committee (IMCC). Working with IMCC Camilla and Elisabeth have gained experience within management, design and evaluation of health projects with special focus on reproductive health issues. They are looking forward to get practical experience with international research projects within this field including collection and analysis of data.
