About:
Ruby Life Ltd is a social business that produces and sells the menstrual cup Ruby Cup on a “Buy One, Give One” concept, for every Ruby Cup sold, Ruby Life donates a cup to a girl in East Africa. Ruby Cups are distributed in collaboration with local organisations in East Africa, such as WoMena.
In collaboration with Ruby Life, WoMena is developing a training toolkit to use for trainings with both adolescent girls and adult women. The toolkit will include a trainer’s handbook, printable flip charts, beneficiaries’ booklet, and two posters. This toolkit will enable WoMena trainers to use comprehensive, long lasting training materials for all their menstrual cup trainings. The toolkit will also be available for any organisations looking to branch into MHM and menstrual cups to download and use for trainings.
Objectives:
- Design and create a menstrual cup training toolkit to use in all menstrual cup trainings and be available to any organisations looking to branch into MHM and MCs.
- The toolkit will consist of a trainers’ handbook, flip charts, beneficiaries’ booklet and two posters (one for adolescent girls and one for women).
- The toolkit is designed to be appropriate for both adolescent girls and adult women which will be reflected in the design, and in variations in the content.
