WoMena is looking for good examples of progress on menstrual health in the East and Southern Africa region
Do you have any reports or other documentation on progress or important MHM events in the East & Southern African region? WoMena has been asked to assess developments on MHM in the region as a two-year follow-up on the report we did for UNFPA in 2018.
Any relevant reports or other documentation on MHM developments in the East & Southern Africa region since 2018 are welcome. We are particularly interested in general policy level changes, specifically on tax exemptions (imports or sales), inclusion of menstrual health in school curricula, or other programmes. Of course, this is expected to lead to conclusions at the next menstrual health symposium in May 2021 on what works, what does not, what can we do in the future.
If you have something to share, please email bi0875lu-s@student.lu.se by November 25th to help make sure WoMena includes important advances, reports and challenges!
