The main objectives of the project:

Educating youth and raising their awareness about menstrual health; introducing the menstrual cup as a menstrual hygiene management product (MHM) among the other available products.

Target groups/beneficiaries:

University students

General description:

During the Info Sessions, both female and male students actively engage to a discussion about menstrual health and its importance to the whole community. Through games and quizzes, they learn about different menstrual hygiene management products. Students also become familiar with the menstrual cup, its use, advantages and disadvantages. For many students it is the first time they hear, learn and even see the menstrual cup.

At the end of the session, everyone has a chance to ask a question (directly or indirectly) about the menstrual cup and other MHM related issues.

Students are also provided with the WoMena team contacts, links to e-platforms where they can ask questions and discuss, possibility to receive WoMena’s newsletters.
