Become a WoMena member in 2018!

Did you know that since 2015 WoMena has stretched across 93 sites, distributed more than 3000 cups and reached more than 3000 beneficiaries?

The Queen of Katwe interview by Nicole Rafiki

In 2018 we continue to introduce reproductive health solutions in low-income settings through research, interventions, awareness raising and advocacy. We currently focus on menstrual health and menstrual cups and most of our activities take place on the ground in Uganda, where women and girls are the focal groups, although we actively aim to involve men.

The scope of our work and achievements mainly depend on memberships and donations – in 2015 we did a research study funded solely with membership donations! Contributions enable us to have an even greater impact and to improve even more people’s lives in areas where buying menstrual products and managing reproductive health is rarely a priority due to the lack of resources.
